idano Construction, Inc. is a Honolulu-based, mid-sized operation specializing in home and office remodeling as well as low-rise commercial development, single-family dwellings and special projects.

President Steve Hidano founded the company in 1974.  Then a journeyman carpenter, Hidano set up his first "office" in the back of his '56 Chevy; later, it moved to his dining room table.  In 1984, wife Audrey Hidano, joined the company full-time as office manager.
